Undergraduate Bursary Scheme

Swansea offers a comprehensive range of scholarships and bursaries for international students. The bursaries entitles students to a fixed fee reduction per annum on tuition fees for the full duration of studies. The bursaries are open to all subject areas.
Closing Date: The scholarships are now open and applications can be made at any time up until 31 August 2009.

Who is eligible:
The bursaries are open to all non-EU candidates for Undergraduate Study who are nationals or residents of Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore & Hong Kong, and to all other non-EU nationals who are living or studying in these countries at the time of applying.

How much will a student save?

For 2009 entry, students who undertake Undergraduate courses in areas of study such as business, law, computer science, economics, mathematics, psychology, health science, arts, humanities, will receive a bursary of £2,200 per annum towards fees, guaranteed for the full duration of studies.

Students who wish to study degrees in science and engineering will receive a bursary of £3,000 per annum towards fees, guaranteed for the full duration of studies.

How to Apply:
Students wishing to apply for the scholarships should first apply for an Undergraduate place of study at Swansea University. Should an offer of study be made, that student will automatically be placed on the Bursary Scheme.
Please note: This award cannot be taken in conjunction with any other scholarship or bursary scheme awarded either internally or externally.
