Grants range from $5,000 to $20,000 per year. GFC awards new grants twice a year in June and December; however interested organizations can submit a letter of inquiry at any time during the year. TRINITY CHILD’S FOUNDATION.
Dear chief executive
ATTENTION:
SAVE THE CHILDREN,SAVE YOUR FUTURE.
As people and nation, we must give attention to the destitute children in our inners cities; those who have been left out of the scheme of things. Many of them are frustrated and bereft of a chance to live. Many of them die every day out starvation, with no one to help. Others are used by their parents or guardians to beg on the streets. When a young child is made a beggar to from a tender age, he would surely become a violent adult. He would take out his anger and frustration on society. This is one of the reasons for the ever-increasing violent crimes in our inners cities; and this is reason we must do something now.
According to the bible, children are a blessing and a gift from the lord (psalms 12-3).They’re a gift of trust and God expect them to be raise in the right way (proverb 22:6).
Our Lord Jesus Himself showed special love to the children during His earthly ministry. On one occasion, He rebuked those who tried to stop the little children from coming to Him. (Mathew 19:13-15).It’s therefore important that we give them special attention and care, whether or not they are our biological children. It’s your responsibility to reach them and give them hope and love.
You must understand that when you save children you save the future. You may be the one to change that child who is being programmed from his youth to destroy and involve theorist activities. In the same way, you may preserve that child who may save or preserve your life or your child’s life in years to come. Therefore, save the children; give of your resources, your finances and your materials blessings to help provide them-today.
We are African children foundation that gives children hope and life meaning. You can join us in bringing hope and life to children and other less-privilege in our inner cities through Trinity child’s foundation. To make your partnership commitment, please email us aleonokhouyashaka@gmail.com,or call +234-8076268760.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Dear Sir/Maadam,
Receive Calvary greetings, its my hope that this letter found you in good heath.
We kindly request you to go through this brief history of what we do.
We are known as SEPTEMBER 10 RESCUE CENTER.
The idea to start a rescue center for the orphans and vulnerable children started way back in the year 1987 when Rev. Esther Wambui Chege, (The Founder and Project Director) met with Dr. and Mrs Anderson from MINNESOTA INTERNATIONAL HEALTH VOLUNTEERS ( MIHV) from USA. She wanted to know more about MIHV and she become a member in the year 1988. She did the baseline survey in Dagoretti Constituency (Kenya), her village and worked there as community health worker (CHW) until 1990.
Thereafter she trained for project management with AMREF where she also learned about hone based care for people living with HIV & AIDS, guiding and counseling. In the course of her community work she come across many children whose parent had succumbed to HIV & AIDS and the condition of environment under which they are living in, led her to organize the community around Dagoretti to reach the unreached especially the children and people living with HIV & AIDS. As a result SEPTEMBER 10 RESCUE CENTER was started.
HIV/AIDS has been wished away like a bad dream. It has met with public denial, political indifference and cultural misconceptions. Emotions has taken place of reason in the struggle to contain the Aids dragon, blame games brought to the fore between 1st and 3rd worlds as to its origin and cause. Happily though, after all the confusion, the world has settled down to the reality of Aids and measures of containing it in place. This has resettled in positive and tangible results but the war is far from being won.
SEPTEMBER 10 RESCUE CENTER is a faith based organization (FBO) come face to face with the ravages of Aids through its interaction with poor communities at grassroots level. As an organization who’s core business is to empower communities to better address their issues, we were compelled to join in this war and has been consistently working communities Dagoretti and Kikuyu since 1988.
Upon overcoming the initial teething problems common to any nascent organization, and the emotions attached to stark human suffering, September 10 has over the years accumulated a wealth of experience in its approach to help the victims (infected and affected). It is this hard earned experience that September 10 aims to share with like minded collaborators in its bid to taking the already realized gains to a higher level.
September 10 Rescue Center started with a noble objective of alleviating the suffering of HIV/AIDS victims and ORPHANED CHILD. Good as the objective was still is, experience has shown that over and above the actual giving of material things, empowering members of affected families to cater for their own needs is more dignified and so readily acceptable to the intended recipients. It is also sustainable easing the pressure on the donors.
September 10 has already initiated two projects along that line;
(1) A revolving fund for women with financial assistance from Plan International. This project has been running since 2001 and has enabled many women to start or strengthen their income generating projects.
(2) A basket making project from recycled bottle tops. September 10 would like to up-scale these existing projects and initiate rabbit keeping and box gardening for slum and other clamped homestead dwellers as way of meeting dietary needs of these communities and as income generating projects.
It is against this noble venture that September 10 is seeking to partner with the like minded organization for financial assistance. The link between the poverty and HIV/AIDS cannot be ignored. Single mothers and teenager Aids orphan with no means of income are more vulnerable to contracting Aids from sexual predators taking advantage of their poverty. Empowering such vulnerable groups proves to be no a back-burn in the fight against Aids but an offensive aimed to vanquishing it. TOGETHER WE CAN.
The passion and the commitment of members of September 10 is its primary asset. Since its inception, the organization has achieved a lot in terms of successful implementations of projects and programs. Under the leadership of its founder and Director Rev. Esther Wambui Chege, September 10 has partnered with the Kenya Red Cross, Plan International, Amurt and various hospitals include Kenyatta National Hospital in implementing health and humanitarian projects.
Currently, September 10 pays school fees for 10 secondary school students, 6 girls and 4 boys. It also buys school inform for 30 primary school children and has a daily feeding program for 50 children and weekly for 150 to 180. September 10 receives and distributes TB and ARV drugs to 120 patients and also offers counseling and testing services to members of the public.
While September 10 has been courageously soldering on this noble mission, the responsibilities have increased tenfold straining our resources to the limit. To be able to carry on with our task we require financial assistance from like minded organization and people of good will.
We therefore kindly request your organization to partner with us to unable us to accomplish this mission.
We take this opportunity to sincerely thank you for your time and consideration, and also to wish you a blessed Happy New Year 2012.
Looking forward for your kind response.
Yours faithfully
Bishop Esther Wambui Chege,
Director September 10 Rescue Center.
