Call for UNAIDS PCB Meeting Youth Observers

March 15th, 2010 admin No comments

To increase the opportunity for the youth constituency to get to know and engage with the UNAIDS PCB, the World AIDS Campaign launched an initiative to support youth observers to attend the PCB meetings in 2009. We supported two youth observers in 2009, Igor Mocorro from the Philippines, and Tafadzwa Chigariro from Zimbabwe.

This year, the upcoming PCB meeting will discuss several things which are quite relevant for young people, such as sexual and reproductive health and rights, as well as non-discrimination. With the successful lessons learnt from 2009, the World AIDS Campaign will continue to support youth observers to attend the upcoming PCB meeting, to provide a youth perspective through working with the NGO delegation of PCB.

In attachment of this email, you will find the Call for Application for the youth observers. It also could be found at our website at
http://www.worldaidscampaign.org/en/Constituencies/Youth/Announcements/Call-For-Applications

The deadline is 11 April, 2010
