Applications are invited for the post of Projects Lawyer that has arisen at a local NGO.
Applicants must be interested in:
- Promoting legal education
- Knowledge of legal rights in the community.
- Promoting human rights
- Having a passion for litigation
- Being prepared to work with the poor and marginalized
- Being a team player
- Also prepared to assist the identification test/public interest issues and litigation thereof
Qualifications
- LLB (Hons) UZ or equivalent
- Registered to practice in Zimbabwe
Experience: At least three (3) years progressive experience in private practice, government or in the NGO sector.
Applicants must be able to communicate effectively in both Ndebele and Shona. Possession of a valid driver’s licence would be a great advantage.
