1. Administrative Assistant

Minimum requirements for this position:
– Diploma in business studies or other relevant administrative field.
– Two (2) years experience in NGO environment.
– Bookkeeping experience is an asset.

Key performance indicators should include:
– Competence in computer skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Spreadsheets;
– Meticulous record keeping and filing skills;
– Setting and meeting deadlines;
– High level of organization and ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision;

2. Finance and Administration Officer

The Finance & Administration Officer is responsible for managing all of the financial, personnel and administrative requirements of the Poverty Reduction Forum Trust in accordance with the direction of the Poverty Reduction Forum Trust Board and Executive Director. The Finance & Administration Officer is responsible for the maintenance of accurate and timely financial accounts and production of all required and any additional reports that may prove useful to meet the financial and program management needs of the organization, management, program officers and donors. He/she also acts as an advisor to the Executive Director regarding the development for approval of policies and procedures to improve operational effectiveness.

Minimum requirements for this position:
– Full CIS, CIMA, ACCA or other relevant equivalent professional qualification.
– At least (5) five years experience in a similar job of which two must be in a senior position.
– Experience in human resource management, policy and procedures.
– Knowledge of accounting packages and computerized accounting systems including presentations, spreadsheets and word processing.

– Knowledge of Labour Relations Act and other relevant legislation
– Organizational and conceptual skills
– Interpersonal and human relations skills

3. Research & Policy Analyst

The Poverty Reduction Forum Trust seeks an individual who enjoys working in a team environment and has the ability to interact effectively with people from diverse backgrounds including high-profile individuals and groups, grassroots organizations, businesses and government offices. The position requires a high degree of attention to detail and an excellent command of the English language including the ability to write research reports, grant proposals, articles and policy briefs. A BA degree in development Economics and relevant experience in NGO work of at least five years is required. Experience should include demonstrated proficiency in research and writing grant proposals.

Key performance indicators should include:
– Demonstrated ability to analyse issues.

– Capable of capacity building – internally and with stakeholders.
– Capable of team building – internally and with stakeholders.
