The Open Society Initiative for Southern Africa (OSISA) and the Mail and Guardian newspaper are the lead partners of the Multiplying Faces, Amplifying Voices programme. The Multiplying Faces, Amplifying Voices programme is an initiative of the African Women’s Foresight Network; a network of prominent African women led by Graca Machel.
Nominations will be called for throughout the African continent for women excelling in the fileds of Buisness, Agriculture, Media, Science and Technology. Profiles of the women will appear in the Mail & Guardian. The special awards evening will be held in March 2011 to celebrate International Women’s Day.
