The Population Institute’s Global Media Awards are devoted to drawing attention to global population issues. The awards honor those who have contributed to creating an awareness of population problems through journalism. Entries will be evaluated on their potential to educate and inform policy-makers or the general public about issues related to population growth.
Awards will be presented in the following categories:
- Best Article or Series of Articles
- Best Book
- Best Online News Service
- Best Radio Show
- Best Film or Miniseries
- Best TV Show
- Best Editorial Cartoon
- Best Print Editorial or Broadcast Commentary
- Best Online Commentary or Blog
- Best Serial Drama
- Best Game
Eligible works must have been published or aired between 1 September 2009 and 3 August 2010. Find out more
