Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the vacant position of Receptionist/Switchboard Operator at the Municipal Head Office.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- At least 5 GCE ‘O’ Level subjects, including English Language
- Receptionist’s Certificate
- Diploma in Secretarial Studies
- Fluency in English, Shona and Ndebele
- Ability to work under pressure
- Must be aged 25 years and above
Key Performance Areas:
- To receive clients and direct them to the relevant departments/sections
- To receive incoming calls and transfer them to relevant sections
- To receive requests for outgoing calls and make the outgoing communications
- To report on faulty extensions and lines and refer them to the Chamber Secretary
