AfriGrowth Foundation employs mentoring as a capacity building tool for Youths, it is in line with this that we are organizing a one-day Seminar on: ‘‘The Role of Nigerian Youths in Sustained Democracy and Good Governance’’.
The Seminar is scheduled to hold on 20th November 2010, in Abuja.
The objectives of the workshop are as follows:
· To make Youths become tools of positive change in the democratic process.
· To raise Youths awareness on their role and impact as democratic leaders within Society.
· To empower Youths into promoting good governance, democracy, integrity and transparency in our Society.
The Seminar would include paper presentations and interactions with key persons in the political arena in Nigeria.
Criteria for Selection:
Ø Participants must be between 18-30 years old
Ø Must commit to building on things learnt and contribute positively to the democratic process
Ø Participants must write a 50 word essay on why they want to attend the Seminar, which should include Name, Email Address, Phone Number, Age and contact Address.

Successful participants will be contacted via email. Kindly note that AfriGrowth will not respond to any queries on the status of applications as only shortlisted participants will be notified.
Deadline for receipt of applications is 30th October 2010. No application would be accepted after the deadline.
