Global Youth Service Day is an annual campaign that celebrates and mobilizes the millions of children and youth who improve their communities each day of the year through service and service-learning. For up to date information and planning materials, as well as information about grant opportunities, continue to check www.GYSD.org. In many countries, Country Partners (formerly known as National Lead Agencies) serve as the lead convener and organizer of Global Youth Service Day.  Country Partners promote GYSD in their country, organize high profile events, engage local media and government officials, and coordinate project registration and reporting.
