It has a network of almost a thousand partner organizations in 36 countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Our counterpart’s organizations work on various themes, including participation, emergency aid and reconstruction, health and well-being and entrepreneurship.
Improving Maternal and Neonatal health is one of the key objectives of the MOHCW. In line with this, the World Bank has decided to support the establishment of a results based financing program (RBF) which seeks to accelerate the availability, accessibility and utilization of quality health services at district and health centre level. The RBF programme will provide subsidies, directly linked to services delivered at primary health care level, i.e. rural (public and church-related not for profit)
