JOB VACANCY
TRIALOG is an EU-funded project focusing on development NGOs (NGDOs) in the EU’s New Member States (NMS) ,Accession Countries (AC) and Candidate Countries (CC). Its objectives include raising awareness of development issues in the above-mentioned countries and supporting local NGDOs to build strong platforms and engage in development policy issues both at national and EU level.
TRIALOG is currently looking for a full time CAPACITY BUILDING OFFICER (maternity leave replacement, initially at least for 1 year) based in Vienna.
Start: September 1st, 2011
Tasks and responsibilities
• Organise and deliver training for NGDOs and their national platforms, mainly related to EC project writing (NSA-LA line and other development cooperation funding lines), EC Contract Management, Project Cycle Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, organisational development, ;
• Design a training plan and training of multipliers on topics related to Project Cycle Management and Development Cooperation;
• Organise other capacity building activities such as study visits and project partnership fairs;
• Support and activate partnerships between NGDOs in old and new EU member states;
• Provide technical advice to platforms and NGDOs in NMS ,AC and CC;
• Identify resource persons and trainers for outsourced training programmes
• Support NMS, AC and CC NGDOs in building and/or developing their NGDO platforms;
• Contribute with methodological input to other TRIALOG events and activities;
