JOB: Consultant to develop UN Award for Youth (UNAY)

 YUNGA is collaboration with the International Award, WAGGGS, WOSM and a number of UN agencies is developing UNAY a self development scheme for youth aged 14 to 25 years. The scheme will also youth to undertake activities related to the MDGs and Global Citizenship. YUNGA is looking for someone to joint the team to finalize the handbook and support the coordination of the pilot testing for a 4 month period. The person we are looking for should:

1. Have been in the Scouts or Guides for a minimum of 1 year.
2. Should have completed at least the bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s award or similar scheme under the International award.
3. Preferable to have some back ground experience in education or being a youth leader.
4. Knowledge of environmental, social and internatinal issues.
5. Strong English writing skills essential (Spanish and French would also be a benefit).
6. Have completed a University Degree in relevant field.

The person will likely be located in London (to be confirmed).
