ONE Launches 2011 “ONE Africa Award”

ONE, a grassroots advocacy and campaigning organisation fighting extreme poverty and preventable disease, particularly in Africa, invites entries for its 2011 ONE Africa Award. The award carries a cash prize of US$100 000 and recognises the work of organisations, founded by Africans and based in Africa, dedicated to helping Africa achieve the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).. The nomination deadline is 16 September 2011.
