Deadline: 10 February 2012
The US Embassy is pleased to announce a call for proposals for the 2012 Taft Refugee Fund. The Fund is intended to meet gaps in ongoing refugee programs that can be filled locally and are not already being addressed by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), other international organizations (IOs), or non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that are already receiving US government funding. This fund is not/not meant as an emergency fund. Proposals will be considered for up to $25,000. The Taft Refugee Fund is intended primarily to support projects that assist refugees or refugee returnees. However, exceptions can be made with programming activities for populations of concern, such as internally displaced persons (IDPs), vulnerable migrants, and stateless persons. Please submit your proposal to NguyenTH5@state.gov
