It’s not too late! Atlas Corps is accepting applications to our award winning Fellowship until May 15.

If you have experience in the nonprofit sector and are interested in spending a year living abroad while working with leading professionals from across the globe:

Indigenous 5000 Master-PhD Fellowship Program

The programme aims at awarding of 5000 PhD scholarships in various field of studies in different phases/Batches. The priority areas for research include Engineering Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Information Technology, Basic Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Humanities/Social Sciences and Health Sciences. Goldman Sachs Fellowship for a woman citizen of an Arab country

Eligibility Requirements

  • You are a woman citizen of an Arab country.
  • You are an entrepreneur with a private business.
  • You have a university degree from a recognized academic institution or equivalent.
  • Having English language proficiency would be an asset; the language of instruction is Arabic.
  • You have a proven need for financial support to cover the program tuition fees.
  • For those who are not Cairo residents: You have the ability to travel to Cairo, Egypt, to participate in the program.

About the Program

The American University in Cairo partnered with the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, to develop and deliver the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women Entrepreneurship & Leadership Program. The objective of the program is to increase the number of underserved women in developing countries receiving business and management education. The most outstanding program graduates are then offered additional services such as Experts in Residence and Mentoring. We are currently recruiting volunteers from the business community, who would be available as experts for advice in the different business fields and sectors (such as marketing, finance, trade and manufacturing etc.)

Atlas Service Corps seeks nonprofit leaders from around the world to apply for their 2010-2011 fellowship positions in Washington, DC; Baltimore, MD; Seattle, WA; Bogota, Colombia; and New Delhi, India. Expenses are paid, including a living stipend, health insurance, and training. Applicants must have three or more years of experience in the nonprofit sector, a college degree, fluency in English (and Spanish if applying to volunteer in Colombia), and a commitment to return to their home country after their Fellowships.

Global Citizen Year (GCY), based in San Francisco, USA, is currently soliciting proposals from cross-sector agencies interested in hosting its Fellow apprentices for six months in the coming year. GCY is particularly interested in organizations that work in learning/education, health, technology, economic development, and environment with a presence in India, Peru, Brazil, Ecuador, or Senegal. The Dag Hammarskjöld Scholarship Fund for Journalists is now accepting applications from professional journalists from developing countries for its 2010 fellowship Program. The journalists who are awarded fellowships are given the incomparable opportunity to observe international diplomatic deliberations at the United Nations, to make professional contacts that will serve them for years to come, to interact with seasoned journalists from around the world, and to gain a broader perspective and understanding of matters of global concern. Many past fellows have risen to prominence in their professional and countries. The program is not intended to provide basic skills training to journalists, as all participants are media professionals.
