Fourty internship positions now open in Europe with Daimler AG and the European Aerospace Defense and Security Company
The Doors for application to the Young Arab Leaders Arab and European Internship Exchange Program are now open!
An internship in Europe with Daimler AG or the European Aerospace Defense and Security Company is your opportunity to take your knowledge from university and apply it in a real life setting. During the three months of the internship, June – August 2010, you will be given the chance to work side by side with employees either on special projects or supporting them in daily business activities. You will be assigned with challenging tasks and will receive all the support needed to successfully accomplish them.
To be eligible to apply you must:
• Be a current university student (2nd or 3rd year only)
• Have a minimum GPA of 3.0;
• Be fluent in the English Language;
• Be pursuing a degree relevant to the internship content (e.g. business, IT, engineering etc.);
• Be of Arab origin;
• Present an up-to-date CV and an enrollment letter from your university;
• Present a 1000 word covering letter stating your motivation for applying to the internship, what you can gain from this experience and why you believe you should be chosen as a candidate;
• Willing and able to volunteer with/for YAL upon completion of the internship
Should you be selected for participation:
• Daimler/EADS will provide you with a basic salary, accommodation and insurance;
• YAL will provide you with a return airline ticket from your home country;
• Visa application and cost should be covered by you.
