Vacancy Announcement: Road to Rio+20 project – Regional Coordinator (West and Central Africa)
Young People We Care (YPWC) is looking for a responsible and motivated person intern/volunteer. The intern/volunteer will responsible for the overall coordination of YPWC’s role in the Road to Rio+20 project which is being implemented by Peace Child International with its regional partners (For more information Road to Rio+20 visit: www.road2rio.wordpress.com ) . The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of the Executive Director of YPWC and the Road to Rio+20 Project Manager at Peace Child International.
YPWC is a registered youth-led and youth-focused organization that is headquartered in Ghana. The organization is operated by a combination of young people (aged 10 to 35 years) and adult allies working on youth and development related issues worldwide. The mission of YPWC is: to educate and inform youth on global issues; inspire them to take action; encourage youth participation in global issues; identify and build sustainable partnerships aimed at youth development; and provide young people with the tools and resources required for effective action.
